CAPTAIN STAN ALLEN
Operating out of Chimney Creek Marina www.thecrabshack.com on Tybee Island, Marshland Adventures is a local charter fishing service that was founded in 1998. Owner and full-time Instructional Guide, Captain Stan Allen, has all the certifications and training to ensure a safe day on the water. Capt. Stan has been fishing these backwaters for over 40 years and his knowledge and experience will enhance your fishing experience.
He is also a retired Fire Captain with 25 years of service. When he’s not too busy, Captain Stan is on the road fishing professional Redfish Tours from N.C. to Louisiana. Captain Stan welcomes experienced anglers as well as novice fishermen including children!

As an inshore fishing guide service based in Tybee Island and Savannah, GA, our focus is on creating approachable, enjoyable fishing charters that fit a wide range of anglers. We design our trips with families, children, and first-time anglers in mind, while still offering a rewarding experience for those who have spent time on the water before. Our fishing guide spends his days navigating local inshore waters, paying close attention to tides, conditions, and seasonal patterns to help each trip run smoothly.

Capt. Stan leads light tackle inshore fishing charters through marshes, creeks, and nearshore areas along the Georgia coast. He takes on a hands-on approach, offering clear instruction and support throughout the trip so everyone feels comfortable and involved.
Capt. Stan focuses on pacing, safety, and communication, allowing guests to relax and enjoy their time on the water. Whether it’s a short outing or a longer charter, our goal is to provide a fishing experience that feels personal, well-planned, and centered on enjoying the inshore environment we fish year-round.
